Quality control using artificial intelligence

Simon-Trans Ltd. joined the AIRISE project funded by the European Union Horizon Programme. 
The aim of our participation in the project was to use artificial intelligence and image-based recognition to identify and document quality discrepancies on parts arriving from overseas in accordance with automotive industry regulations. 
With the AI-based image recognition system, we aimed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of pre-production quality control, minimise human error, reduce waste and promote sustainability by reducing carbon emissions during the process. 
We can use business intelligence to analyse the resulting data to improve the efficiency of our quality control processes.
